“Coming from a different school, I realised that being at Michaela really would bring out the best in me. The teachers’ enthusiasm and their vast knowledge of the subject made me want to expand and broaden my horizons. The quality of teaching you get at Michaela6th is unparalleled. Furthermore, the academic environment makes you push yourself to the limit and work harder than you have ever worked before. I know I have made the right decision when I am surrounded by like-minded people who strive for excellence and to be at the top. Coming to Michaela6th is a choice you have to make if you want to be the best in the country.” – Ibrahim, Y12

Michaela Sixth Form opened in 2019 and continued the school’s tradition of academic excellence, high standards and exceptional outcomes for students. In 2021, 82% of the Sixth Form graduates went on to Russell Group Universities, including destinations such as Cambridge, LSE, St Andrews and Imperial. Students were accepted on to a wide variety of courses including medicine.

Our sixth form students receive a superb education, taught by subject experts with outstanding academic pedigrees. Ninety-five percent of Michaela staff were educated at Russell Group universities with one third of staff with degrees from Oxford or Cambridge.

This year saw our students sit their first ever A-Level exams. Their results were outstanding and we are so proud of all of their hard work. Our students are heading off to some brilliant universities, including Oxford, LSE, Imperial, UCL and Warwick.

  • In 2022, 1/3 of all A-Level exams were graded A*
  • Almost ¾ of our A-Level exams were graded A* or A
  • 91% of all A-Level exams were graded A* to B

In addition to a rigorous A Level programme, students will receive outstanding extra-curricular guidance and opportunities, with a view to preparing them to enter the best universities in the world, not just the UK. Students receive support in preparing their applications to Harvard, Yale, MIT and other Ivy League universities.

We are one of the highest achieving sixth form in London, serving communities across the capital including in Brent, Barnet, Camden, Hampstead, Highgate, Harrow, Ealing, Acton, Westminster and beyond.

What makes Michaela Sixth Form different?

Initial Selection

We offer exceptional teaching by Oxbridge and Russell Group graduates. All of our A-level teachers attended a Russell Group University and almost half were educated at Oxford or Cambridge.

Michaela6th offers exceptional academic support, our average class size is 8, and there are 3 students for every member of staff. We have unparalleled standards of academic rigour and focus, which mean our students learn enormous amounts and progress quickly and confidently at A-level.

Our students join us with 7s, 8s and 9s at GCSE, and are normally on track to achieve A*s and As at A-level. We hold our students to the highest academic and personal standards, and support them to achieve their best.

As a Michaela6th student, you are surrounded by young people who are aiming for the same as you.
